Saxon Warrior, who sired his foal on Thursday, winning the 2000 Guineas | Racing Post

MG1SW Saxon Warrior (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}), a winner of the G1 English 2000 Guineas, has sired his first foal, a colt, in France on Thursday, Coolmore announced. Out of the maiden mare Gloriously (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) herself a daughter of Irish listed-placed Queen of France (Danehill), the bay is “a correct colt with size, bone and quality,” according to Guillaume Garcon of Haras de l'Hotellerie. His second dam is a half-sister to MGSW Jazz Club (Dixieland Band), while blue hen Up the Flagpole (Hoist the Flag) is farther back in the pedigree.
